BEHIND THE LENS
Hello,
I’m Aravind.
I’m Aravind Baskaran, a London-based photographer, filmmaker and video editor with a foundation in filmmaking.
I hold a master’s degree in Direction and Screenplay Writing from BOFTA Film Academy, with a background in Viscom at SRM University. My film experience includes assistant direction on the film Sivappu Manjal Pachai with Director Sasi.
My short film Ananthi ↗, which I wrote and directed, received a Gold Medal at BOFTA. I also received the Best Screenplay Writer Award at the PSG College 2018 Short Film Festival.
Today, I bring that storytelling background to couple portraits, everyday London stories and cinematic films, working from London and flexible to travel anywhere in the UK.
